The east tower of the Science and Technology Building is being renovated into new labs and technology enhanced active learning (TEAL) classrooms. Portions of the former law center were reimagined into chemistry labs and reopened in the spring of 2020. The western portion also includes enhanced study areas and a new open lounge area available to students across the Columbia campus.
