Jennifer Jackson starts yearlong fellowship
Jennifer Jackson, assistant director of basic needs, is embarking on a yearlong fellowship with Communications and Marketing. She is one of six fellows in the division, including one coming to work with her in the Gamecock CommUnity Shop.

Dani Dix named U101 New Instructor of the Year
When Dani Dix walked into her first University 101 class last August, she knew she wasn't the only one feeling nervous. Her honesty in that moment set the tone for a great semester, leading her to be named the U101 New Instructor of the Year.

Wright Culpepper named U101 Instructor of the Year
After first taking University 101 as a student in 2003, Wright Culpepper returned as a peer leader and later an instructor. Two decades later, that commitment has earned him the 2025-26 M. Stuart Hunter Award for Outstanding Teaching.
