Michael is a first-year Public History M.A. Student from Clarion, Pennsylvania.

He graduated in 2026 with a B.A. in History and Anthropology with minors in Public History and Civil War Era Studies from Gettysburg College. In his time there, he interned at Seminary Ridge Museum and Education Center and in College Archives and Special Collections at Gettysburg College. He was also a Civil War Institute Student Fellow and history departmental Peer Learning Associate and inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and national honors societies for History, Anthropology, and Classics.

His main interests in history include American Civil War memory and monumentation, the experiences of soldiers and communities throughout the war, and some ancient and sports history. He mainly focuses on making history accessible and interesting to the public in whatever way possible, primarily through museums.
