The Palmetto Forum is a world affairs luncheon seminar designed to stimulate discussion of international issues within Columbia's professional community.
Each semester, our institute hosts events to further explore each of our six world regions with the USC community.
The Institute sponsors occasional conferences to bring attention to international events and global issues.
"Bridging the Atlantic from the United Kingdom to South Carolina"
Sponsored by the Walker Institute of International and Area Studies and presented by the American Political Science Association, the Political Science Graduate Symposium provides a platform for emerging scholars to present their research, engage with peers and faculty, and participate in professional development activities. By lowering barriers to conference participation, we strive to create an accessible and enriching environment for graduate students from institutions in the SEC and beyond.
