Background

Irene Daniels joined the College of Hospitality, Retail and Sport Management in October 2025 as human resources coordinator, bringing more than 20 years of leadership in missions, education and community development. In her previous role as episcopal supervisor of missions for the African Methodist Episcopal Church, she oversaw programs supporting thousands across West, Central and Southern Africa. Her work included organizing international conferences, coordinating mission campaigns and building partnerships that expanded access to education and health care.

In addition to her ministry leadership, Daniels has taught business courses at Allen University and previously worked in banking, where she developed strong financial and management skills. She co-founded several schools and a medical center in Liberia to advance learning and wellness in underserved communities.
