Joe Davis joined the College of Social Work as Grants Administrator in February 2025.

Joe has been with the University since 2008; having worked in Payroll, at the Law School, and, most recently, with the Rule of Law Collaborative. Across each of these areas, Joe managed a variety of personnel and financial matters with efficiency and a personal touch. He has received several recognitions, including the ADVOCATE and the Outstanding Staff awards from the Law School. He is a 2019 graduate of the University’s GRANT program and was subsequently invited to serve as a SME (subject matter expert) and instructor for Subawards.

He holds an M.B.A. from Francis Marion University and a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Spanish from the University of South Carolina.

He spends his free time working on a never-ending stream of home repair and improvement projects and trying to cajole his two teenage sons and wife into joining him.
