USC employees can combat student repayment with Savi

Recently, the Department of Education announced the resumption of collections on defaulted federalstudent loans, which took effect on May 5 after a pause of more than five years.

This shift could have serious consequences for millions of borrowers, including:

Wage garnishment (up to 15% of each paycheck)
Tax refund withholding
Damage to your credit score
Reduced Social Security payments

USC Columbia launches new telecommuting guidelines

With a greater emphasis on a vibrant and healthy campus culture that supports our students and customers, university leaders are requiring a return to campus for many USC employees beginning July 1, 2025.
