Employee Insights Survey Timeline

In March, 2025, USC launched the Employee Insights Survey to gather confidential feedback from faculty and staff about their workplace experiences. Administered by ModernThink, the survey explored key themes such as leadership, culture, communication, inclusion, and well-being.

Your feedback provides the foundation for meaningful action. The results are being used to identify university-wide and college/division-level priorities that will strengthen USC’s workplace and faculty/staff experience.

Fall 2025- Spring 2026

The Presidential Commission and college/division action planning committees review the survey data and recommendations. Each group identifies top priorities, defines actionable goals, and develops measurable plans to strengthen the faculty and staff experience. University and unit leaders finalize and communicate their action plans, setting the foundation for implementation and accountability in the following year.

Summer 2026- Fall 2026

Progress updates and outcomes from university and local action plans are shared with the USC community. Leadership evaluates progress against institutional goals and prepares for the next full survey cycle (scheduled every 3–4 years). Pulse surveys are scheduled to assess early progress, monitor key focus areas, and ensure continued responsiveness to employee feedback.
