Prepare for Orientation

Now that you’ve registered for an Orientation session, what’s next? If you’re a fall freshman or transfer student use the GoingGarnet! steps below to stay on track with everything you need to complete before arriving on campus.

Step 1: Complete Cocky Transitions, Part 1

Part I of Cocky Transitions offers an introduction to key topics such as placement testing, the Carolina Core curriculum, academic advising, University 101, study abroad and more. You’ll also schedule your individual advising appointment. Part I is available in your USC Admissions Portal and takes about 30 minutes to complete. Cocky Transitions — Part 1 will open May 7.
