Experience Elite Jazz Training at USC – June 15-17, 2025
Immerse yourself in an exciting week of music-making at Gamecock Jazz Camp, where young musicians grow their skills, build confidence and create lasting memories in a supportive and inspiring environment.
Each day is filled with music-related activities from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., including rehearsals, section work, improvisation, musicianship, and guidance from USC Jazz faculty. Camp participants will work toward a thrilling final big band concert, showcasing everything they have learned throughout the program.
What to Expect
At Gamecock Jazz Camp, students will:
- Rehearse daily with experienced jazz educators and performers
- Receive one-on-one time with faculty
- Strengthen improvisation, ensemble playing, and overall musicianship
- Build friendships with other passionate young musicians
- Perform in a final big band concert at the end of camp

Program Leadership
The camp is led by Colleen Clark, Associate Professor of USC Jazz Studies and Founder/Director of JAZZ GIRLS DAY®. With her leadership and the support of USC Jazz faculty, campers benefit from expert instruction, encouragement, and a creative space designed to help them thrive.

Commuter: $500
Tuition includes instuction, t-shirt, snacks and lunch.
Residental: $750
Includes on-campus accomodations at Campus Village, instruction, a t-shirt, snacks,
meals and evening jam sessions!
