Research and Teaching Interests

Dr. Pengfei Guo is an environmental and perinatal epidemiologist whose research focuses on advancing maternal, child, and women's health across the life course. Her work draws on pregnancy and birth cohorts to investigate the impacts of environmental and pharmaceutical exposures on perinatal outcomes, as well as long-term cardiometabolic and mental health. She is particularly interested in applying innovative analytic approaches, including chemical mixture modeling, trajectory analysis, and metabolomics. Dr. Guo earned her PhD in Environmental Health Sciences from Yale School of Public Health. She has teaching experience in intermediate to advanced epidemiologic methods, including causal inference and programming-based courses.
